Motu2Motu Aitutaki 2013

Motu2Motu in 2013 was another incredible event with crews from Australia, Canada, USA and New Zealand making teams with locals from Rarotonga and Aitutaki alike.
After months of drought, paddlers were greeting by very welcome light showers at the beginning of the race before the sun came out to fully showcase Aitutaki’s amazing lagoons with 14 shades of blue.
New canoes meant a larger field than 2012, with the event set to grow even further this year.
