First ever Venue held on San Francisco Bay…. America’s Cup USA gives a Big invitation to the Hawaiin Paddle Community a chance to demonstrate the Sport of outrigger canoeing most important the Lifestyle and the Traditions of Hawaii. Canoe clubs all over the Bay area come together at the Marina Green in San Francisco California base camp village of ORACLE USA America’s Cup Catamaran Race team. Here in this Video representative members from Ho’okahi Pu’uwai HPOCC paddle race on the Bay consisting of a 4 mile distance race between two of San Francisco famed tourist attractions Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. The video location starts at Marina Green Golden gate yacht club then passing Fort Mason center a left turn straight towards Alcatraz Island then a hard left turn, straight towards the Golden gate bridge then at the end point passing Chrissy field a hard U-turn going straight back to Marina Green. On this video seated in the canoe we have seat 1 Marshal, seat 2 Cris Jr., seat 3 Dewey, seat 4 Marc, seat 5 Rey(with GoPro 3 cam) and seat 6 steersman Tim….HPOCC men finish top 5 and Women top 3.
